TURIN - ITALYContamination.. A hotchpotch of images leapt out of the continuos swirl of the tv, bursts of deafening music and advertisements that hammer uninterruptedly our heads. Take all of this and try to squeeze it: you'll obtain a pure and unripe concentrate made of smashing colors and marked contrasts. This concentrate is spread and packed ,sealed up inside a frame to remain a shiny and frozen image that tries somehow to stop the chaos. what is turning around you every day. Continuously ... These images creep in the simplified and colorful world of comics but they describe in a frantic way something that goes far beyond. Comics are not the aim but the necessary means to reach an audience as wide as possible and to avoid that the message is perceived by a few. These images are grotesque and excessive, apparently innocuous, but they'll give you the impression of being not so sure that what you are watching is funny and light-hearted as you thought before.--- (River colla production) http://www.myspace.com/gecart
